Decorative ceiling lamp from the 1970s featuring a cylindrical arrangement of clear, textured crystal elements mounted in a brass frame. The textured crystal surfaces create beautiful reflections of light, while the brass details give the lamp an elegant and characteristic period appearance.

Bio:
Orrefors was founded in 1898 in Småland, Sweden, and is internationally recognised for its production of art glass and crystal. Throughout the 20th century, the glassworks collaborated with prominent designers and developed innovative glassmaking techniques. During the 1960s and 70s, crystal glass was also used in decorative lighting, where the interplay of glass, metal and light reflected the Scandinavian design aesthetics of the period.
