Large decorative porcelain tureen with lid, designed in a classicist style with a white ground, broad gilded borders and detailed multicoloured figural scenes. The tureen is decorated with romantic scenes set in landscapes, framed by ornamental decorations. The lid features a round gilded finial, while the body has elegant side handles with gold detailing. A refined example of Royal Copenhagens decorative porcelain from the mid-20th century.
