Set of three small ceramic vases with rounded bodies, narrow necks and slightly flared rims. Finished in different glazes in turquoise, pink, grey and muted green tones. Models from the 1940s.

Bio:
Richard Uhlemeyer (1900–1954) was a German ceramicist, craftsman and entrepreneur, born in Göttingen and deceased in Hanover. He studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Hanover and established his own pottery workshop there in 1935. His production included thrown and formed vessels in high-fired clay and stoneware, often distinguished by characteristic glazes and experimental surfaces. Uhlemeyer was also a prominent figure in German craftsmanship and served from 1949 until his death in 1954 as the first president of the Central Association of German Crafts.
