Set of five decorative porcelain animal figurines, executed in naturalistic forms with hand-painted details in various tones. The figurines depict different animals and were produced by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory in the former Soviet Union.

Bio:
The Lomonosov Porcelain Factory in Leningrad traces its history to 1744, when it was founded as the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg. In 1925, the factory was named after the Russian scientist Mikhail Lomonosov. During the Soviet period, the factory became known for an extensive range of porcelain figurines, including naturalistically modelled animals with carefully hand-painted details.
