Set of six decorative porcelain bear cub figurines, executed in various poses with hand-painted details in brown, beige and white tones. Two of the figurines are designed as salt and pepper shakers. Produced by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory in the former Soviet Union.

Bio:
The Lomonosov Porcelain Factory in Leningrad traces its history to 1744, when it was founded as the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg. In 1925, the factory was named after the Russian scientist Mikhail Lomonosov. During the Soviet period, the factory produced an extensive range of porcelain figurines, including animal figures with naturalistic and characterful expressions. The factorys figurines were produced in numerous models and are often distinguished by detailed modelling and hand-painted decoration.
