Bio:
The Meissen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1710 and was Europe’s first porcelain manufactory. Its distinctive Crossed Swords mark was introduced in 1722. During the 1770s, Meissen flower painting developed towards brighter, more compact floral compositions that became characteristic of the period’s decoration.
