Large teapot in white-glazed porcelain, designed by Erik Magnussen for Rikke Jakobsen. The teapot has a simple cylindrical form with an integrated spout, lid and removable metal tea infuser.

Bio:
Erik Magnussen (1940–2014) was a Danish ceramicist and industrial designer who graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Copenhagen in 1960. He began his career at Bing & Grøndahl, where he worked with porcelain, and later established his own design studio. Magnussen’s work encompassed porcelain, furniture and functional objects and was characterised by a simple formal language with an emphasis on function and materials. He received the Lunning Prize in 1967 and became a significant figure in Danish design.
