Bio:
Michael Bang (1942–2013) was a Danish glass artist and designer and the son of Jacob E. Bang. He worked for Holmegaard Glassworks for a number of years, creating both functional glassware and decorative series. His work is characterised by clear forms, strong colours and a modern interpretation of the Danish glassmaking tradition.
