Bio:
The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in Copenhagen in 1775 under the patronage of Queen Dowager Juliane Marie. Blue Fluted Plain was the factory’s first decoration and was assigned pattern number 1. The hand-painted blue pattern has since become one of the best-known examples of Danish porcelain design.
