Arne Jacobsen (1902–1971) was one of Denmark's most influential architects and designers. His work ranged from furniture and cutlery to architecture and lighting, all characterised by a clean, functional and timeless aesthetic. His cutlery series for Georg Jensen has become an international design icon and remains in production as a classic example of Scandinavian modernism.
