Bio:
Knud Kyhn (1880–1969) was a Danish sculptor, painter and ceramic artist, particularly renowned for his expressive animal sculptures. He worked for Royal Copenhagen during several periods and created numerous models inspired by the animal world. His works are characterised by confident sculptural modelling and a distinctive use of ceramic glazes.
