Bio:
Swedish textile designers gained international recognition during the 1950s and 1960s for their handwoven Rölakan rugs. Drawing inspiration from both folk art and modernism, they created textiles with stylised motifs, harmonious colour palettes and exceptional craftsmanship. Many examples were signed with the weaver's or designer's initials, highlighting their individual character.
