Bio:
Anton Michelsen was founded in Copenhagen in 1841 by the goldsmith Anton Michelsen (1809–1877) and became one of Denmark’s most respected silver workshops. The company became especially renowned for exceptional craftsmanship and collaborations with prominent Danish artists and designers throughout the 20th century. Jewellery by Anton Michelsen is today highly sought after among collectors of Danish modernism and Scandinavian silver design.
