Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Danish-Finnish ceramicist and designer, regarded as one of the most important Scandinavian ceramic artists of the 20th century. As artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931, he created some of the factory’s most iconic stoneware collections, celebrated for their organic forms, experimental glazes, and refined modernist aesthetic. His works remain highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
