Bio:
Lars Yngve Nilsson (1932–2008) was a Swedish painter and cartoonist born in Malmö. He studied at the Skåne School of Painting and under Jules Schyl at the Technical Evening School. Nilsson debuted in 1953 and exhibited widely in both solo and group exhibitions, including at Liljevalchs Konsthall and Skånes konstförening. His work encompasses landscapes, portraits, and still lifes, often characterised by an expressive and personal style. He is represented in several Swedish collections, including Kristianstad County Museum.
