Bio:
Svend Åge Larsen (1931–2004) was a Danish visual artist and ceramicist, educated at the School of Applied Arts and the Royal Porcelain Factory. He primarily worked with wax crayons, creating non-figurative compositions defined by balanced colour harmonies. Larsen was also active in large-scale decorative commissions, including church interiors in Frederikssund, and taught at Thorstedlund Art Folk High School. His work reflects a modern abstract tradition focused on colour and form.
