Ox Chair model EJ100 with matching ottoman designed by Hans J. Wegner. The model was designed in 1960 and is produced today by Fredericia Furniture following the acquisition of Erik Jørgensen. Upholstered in black leather with steel frame. The distinctive backrest with “horns” gave the chair its name Ox Chair. The design is considered one of Wegner’s most sculptural works and differs from many of his other chairs through its bold and organic form. The Ox Chair is represented in international collections and is among the most recognized Danish lounge chairs of the period.
