Rare set consisting of a candlestick and a tea holder with lid in porcelain, decorated with the characteristic romantic floral ornament from the Romanze series. Elegant forms with fine gilt detailing, typical of Wiinblad’s decorative universe from the 1970s.

Bjørn Wiinblad (1918–2006) was a Danish artist and designer known for his imaginative and decorative style. He worked across ceramics, graphics, stage design and industrial design, collaborating with Rosenthal on some of his most iconic porcelain series. His work is characterised by whimsical motifs, organic lines and a highly distinctive personal expression.
