Description:

Charlottenborg pendant, model PH 6½-6, based on Poul Henningsen’s original drawings and further developed in 1979 by the architects Ebbe Christensen and Sophus Frandsen for Louis Poulsen. The lamp was redesigned for the exhibition building Charlottenborg in Copenhagen in a larger scale.

To reduce glare, an internal blue shade was added, improving light comfort and creating a more pleasant illumination. The construction builds on Henningsen’s principles of optimal light distribution and functional design.
