Rörstrand, pair of art nouveau faience vases.
Two elegant art nouveau faience vases with baluster-shaped bodies and integrated handles at the neck. The glaze appears in soft, nuanced tones of ivory, pale blue and sand with a gently flowing effect, characteristic of early twentieth-century Swedish faience.

Bio:
Rörstrand was founded in 1726 in Stockholm and is one of Europe’s oldest porcelain and faience manufacturers. During the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the factory developed an extensive production of artistic faience and stoneware, distinguished by high craftsmanship and period-specific decorative glazes. Rörstrand holds a central position in Swedish ceramic history and is regarded as one of the most influential producers in Scandinavia.
