Naturalistically shaped cat in white stoneware with an elongated, stylised body and raised tail. The figure is standing on an oval wooden base and displays a restrained modernist design characteristic of Rörstrand’s mid-twentieth-century production. Factory mark cancelled with one incised line.

Bio:
Lillemor Petersson (1927–2018) was a Swedish ceramic artist and designer associated with Rörstrand during the 1950s and 1960s. She is particularly known for her decorative animal figures executed in stoneware and earthenware, combining playful stylisation with strong material awareness. Her work forms part of the Swedish modernist tradition and remains highly collectible today.
