Grethe Meyer for Royal Copenhagen, set of three small Blue Line candlesticks.Three small round candlesticks in white glazed porcelain with a simple blue line along the rim. The design forms part of the Blue Line series and reflects the strict functionalist aesthetic of the 1970s. Unmarked.

Bio:
Grethe Meyer (1918–2008) was a Danish architect and designer educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. She worked extensively with industrial design, housing and product development and is recognised for her rational, functional approach to form. Her Blue Line service for Royal Copenhagen, introduced in 1965, became an icon of Danish modern design, celebrated for its clarity, proportion and everyday usability.
