Marking: Marked to the base with the Meissen crossed swords. 1st factory quality.

Meissen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1710 in Saxony and is the oldest porcelain manufactory in Europe. It is renowned for pioneering true hard-paste porcelain and for the iconic crossed swords mark, used since the 1720s as a symbol of origin and quality.
