Bio:
Blue Fluted Plain was introduced in 1775 and is Royal Copenhagen’s oldest and most enduring pattern. Rooted in Chinese blue-and-white porcelain, the decoration is defined by its precise structure, rhythmic brushwork and refined hand-painted detailing. More complex serving forms such as this model were produced in smaller numbers and are today considered relatively rare, particularly examples from the early 20th century.
