Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Plain square bowl, 1966.
Distinctive square bowl in Blue Fluted Plain, made in the classic fluted form with gently undulating edges and decorated with hand-painted cobalt blue underglaze. The bowl is divided into four sections around a central well and represents a sculptural and relatively uncommon serving piece within the service.

Bio:
Blue Fluted Plain was introduced in 1775 and is Royal Copenhagen’s oldest and most traditional pattern. Inspired by Chinese blue-and-white porcelain, it is characterised by its disciplined composition, rhythmic brushwork and finely executed hand-painted decoration.
