Decorative triangular small plate in Blue Fluted Plain, made in the traditional fluted form with softly rounded corners and decorated with hand-painted cobalt blue underglaze. The plate features a central triangular well surrounded by the classic fluted decoration and represents a refined and relatively uncommon small serving piece.

Bio:
Blue Fluted Plain was introduced in 1775 and is Royal Copenhagen’s oldest and most traditional pattern. In addition to the classic round forms, more sculptural shapes such as triangular plates were produced over time. These smaller pieces demonstrate the formal variation of the service and the high level of craftsmanship achieved by the factory in the mid-20th century.
