Bio:
The “Blue Onion” pattern is one of Meissen’s most iconic designs, developed in the mid-18th century and inspired by Asian porcelain. The decoration, originally intended to depict pomegranates and peaches, was later perceived as onions – hence the name. The series remains one of Meissen’s most popular and classic tableware designs.
