Three porcelain egg cups, two with fixed saucers, decorated with hand-painted flowers in the classic “Saxon Flower” pattern and gilded rim.

Origin: Denmark, Royal Copenhagen.

Condition: One cup with hairline. Two cups cancelled (2nd quality with two incised lines), one cup 1st quality.

Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 under the patronage of Queen Juliane Marie and is renowned for its hand-painted porcelain series. The “Saxon Flower” pattern was introduced in the late 18th century and remained popular well into the 20th century. The series included both tableware and rarer accessories such as egg cups, which today are highly sought-after collector’s items.
