Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 under the patronage of Queen Juliane Marie and is renowned for its hand-painted porcelain. The “Saxon Flower” pattern was introduced in the late 18th century, inspired by botanical engravings. The series remained popular well into the 20th century, and combinations of small trays and vases were commonly used as table and interior decorations.
