Bio:
Aldo Londi (1911–2003) served as artistic director at Bitossi in Montelupo Fiorentino from 1946 until the 1980s. He created the world-famous Rimini Blu series in the 1950s, which quickly became an icon of Italian postwar design. The series is characterized by its vivid blue glazes combined with hand-incised geometric patterns, making each piece unique. Londi’s works are today highly sought-after collector’s items and represent a milestone in Italian studio ceramics.
