Bowl and vase, ca. 1960s.
Two stoneware pieces consisting of a low, rounded bowl and a broad-shaped vase with ribbed decoration. Both with brown-toned glaze in shades of grey, beige and brown, the bowl with deep reddish-brown interior glaze.

Origin: Sweden.
Manufacturer: Rörstrand, Ateljé.

Material: Stoneware.

Bio:
Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920–1990) was a Swedish ceramic artist and designer who played a key role in Rörstrand’s development during the mid-20th century. Starting as an apprentice at Rörstrand in 1939, he later became artistic director in the 1950s. Stålhane was renowned for his refined forms, sophisticated glazes, and sculptural approach, making him one of the most significant Scandinavian ceramicists of his time.
