Bio
Osmund Hansen (1908–1995) was a Danish painter and graphic artist, trained at Folmer Bonnén’s painting school. He debuted at the Artists’ Autumn Exhibition in 1935. His work evolved from naturalistic landscapes to more abstract and constructive compositions with clear, decorative colors. Hansen exhibited both in Denmark and internationally and, together with his wife, established the Osmund Hansen Foundation to support young artists.
