Bio:
Mantorp Glasbruk, founded in 1961 in Östergötland, Sweden, produced decorative household and art glass with modern, simple forms. In the late 1960s, the glassworks introduced a series of sculptural vases with pronounced bases and drop-shaped openings, which today are regarded as some of its most iconic designs. The glassworks closed in the 1990s.
Skånska Glasbruket has historical roots in 18th-century Skåne, where glass production was first established in the region. In the 20th century, the name was revived for a modern glassworks that, especially during the 1950s–1970s, produced colourful, mouth-blown vases and bowls with a sculptural character.
