Jens Harald Quistgaard cabaret dish

Description:

Length 44 cm.
Width 34 cm.
Height 12 cm. incl glass jug.
The set has eight glass bowls a jug with a lid.
These measure 10.5x10.5 cm.
There is a bit of color difference on the glass bowls.

The teak dish is Bangkok teak and marked with JHQ DENMARK and "2. sort" for 2. assortment. The jug have a scrap to it.
Jens Harald Quistgaard was a Danish sculptor and designer and one of the driving forces behind the spread of Danish Design around the world, mainly in the USA.

He quickly broke through in the US and Japan and his work are being shown at several major museums in these countries. His great breakthrough was as simple as a teak and steel cutlery from 1954. The same year he creates the company "Dansk", which was his sales channel.

Jens Harald Quistgaard is the designer of many of Raadvad's famous kitchen utensils, including the well-known can opener, "Hajfinnen".
